How we work

How We Work

During our coaching sessions, we don't only focus on physical fitness, but help participants develop life skills that they will need to be successful in life after school e.g decision making, goal settling, communication, conflict resolution, self – esteem and awareness etc. We have developed age appropriate games and activities which are challenging and educative. We set goals, plan, prepare, conduct and evaluate all our coaching sessions based on a given theme. During all our activities and lessons, differences in individual needs are carefully catered for using the STEPS and SMILE differentiation framework.

Faith

We incorporate spiritual messages in our framework as we believe hat faith plays a very important role in shaping character and behavior.

Benefits of Our Fitness Programme

  • It builds motivation, confidence, and physical competence and thus, it provides children with the strong foundations needed to sustain a lifelong participation in physical activity and sport.
  • Opportunities for children to discover their aptitudes, abilities, and preferences, and make choices about how to get involved in lifelong physical activity.
  • Children learn ways to succeed and excel in physically demanding and competitive sport and this helps to build character and embed important values such as fairness and respect.
  • Early childhood messages delivered in a fun and engaging way making learning easy and complementing what is taught in the classroom.
  • Some of our activities are designed to teach self-discipline which in turn helps avoid peer-to-peer physical and psychological abuse and discrimination which can be prevalent in children.
  • Reduction in obesity and anti-social behavior among children.
  • Individual strengths and talent are easily identified, encouraged, and nurtured in our "leave no child behind" strategy.
